KRAS GORIN

2023 Emotions in Space Collection

Depictions of space and the cosmos have long captivated Bulgarian-born Phoenix-based artist Kras Gorin. He has spent much of his painting career reflecting on the origins of humanity. He believes there is “basically one creator with different names who created everything, both the stars in space and religion and everything is connected”. Every one of his paintings begins with a cosmic-themed base layer, then he freely interprets whichever subject he’s exploring (e.g., stories from the Bible) in a modern way.
