When Kras was asked to show his work in the Chapel of The Episcopal Church SsAM, he was moved.  It is the first time Eastern Orthodox Icons will be hung inside an Episcopal Church.  He says, “It like the East meets the West.”

Come and see this beautiful display of artwork for yourself.  It is part of the Church’s “Season of Creation 2010” that began October 10th.  It is described by the church as, “A spiritual journey of seven Sundays into all aspects of creation-human, other living creatures, and the natural environment; featuring guest speakers, storytellers and artists, contemporary liturgy, reading, music and other art forms. The purpose: to celebrate the wonders of God’s creation, and to commit ourselves to being peacemaking stewards in our own selves, our local communities and the world”.

The Season of Creation began on Sunday, October 10th and will finish on Sunday, November 21st, 2010.  Kras’s artwork will be there for the seven weeks and is free and open to the public.  You may also contact us for a private tour.
